Getting Veneers at E.S.I. Healthy Dentistry

Your smile is an essential part of who you are. It impacts the way you carry yourself, the way you interact with others, and your general confidence. Doctor Dimitrios “Jimmy” Kilimitzoglou specializes in helping you reach your cosmetic dentistry goals, and feeling at ease while you do so.

Dr. K brings close to 20 years of experience to his practice, and offers a wide variety of cosmetic dentistry procedures for you to choose from so you can look and feel your best.

Veneers are but one of the many services Dr. K provides. The porcelain veneers Dr. K provides can be used for anything from masking discolored, chipped, or cracked teeth, to transforming an entire smile.

Veneers are thin ceramic dental restorations that are placed on the surface of the teeth, equipped to hide minor imperfections, close gaps, or eliminate the look of overcrowding. Some patients have chosen porcelain veneers over braces and other longer, more painful orthodontic processes to obtain a straight smile. Veneers can also be colored to match the rest of your teeth and mimic the look of natural teeth, making them a discreet and easy way to perfect your smile.

Dr. K is able to fit and place veneers in two easy office visits. During the first visit, you will discuss your cosmetic goals with Dr. K and devise a treatment plan to suit your needs. He will then prep the teeth, using molding to create a detailed impression of the mouth. The impression are then sent to a lab where the porcelain veneers are created using the highest quality porcelain available.

While the veneers are being made, you will be fitted with a natural-looking, temporary restoration. Once the veneers have been created, typically in about two weeks, patients can return to Dr. K’s office to have them bonded. Dr. K will then make any necessary changes to be sure that the veneers fit properly, and look and feel just like your natural teeth.
